Lest there be any confusion: you may not do it if you abide by the label
which is the law in such matters.  It is likely that one of the reasons
mites have adapted so quickly is failure of some bee-keepers to follow the
rules, whether out of ignorance, laziness, or as a cost cutting measure.
We're all paying sooner than was necessary.
