>>She is using a G****R pump and was unwilling to consider a different pump
because she had already spent the money on it, and felt like she was getting
milk (approx. 6 oz. on one breast, 2 oz. on the other at each pumping...which
she was only doing three times a day). <<

Just as an aside-- I encourage moms to take their pumps back and demand a
refund. My mothers have an almost 100% success rate in getting their money
back, and then they don't feel so bad about buying a better pump. It helps
justify the expense to dad, too, to know that they haven't thrown away good
money! Does this mom know that her current pump may work well now but may
easily fail her in the near future and place her supply at risk?
