Linda,
I once saw a case of yeast that I did not recognize at first because the pain
started during pregnancy.  While it seems improbably, I would definitely
screen her yeast hx and not rule out this possibility. Using lotrimon on her
nipples would not compromise anything and might possibly help in this
unknown. Also, did you do a suck assessment just to verify that baby's suck
is normal, though all the physical parameters afterwards look good?
