Last night my e-mail was acting up and it was impossible for me to send
this. While I was easing into the real world without the crutch of e-mail I
looked at my bookshelves and realized I had neglected to mention the
excellent book 'Pregnancy and birth - the best evidence' by Joyce Barrett
and our very own Teresa Pitman. ISBN 1-55263-026-9
The content is clear and everything is documented (love that!). Also, the
pregnant woman on the cover is depicted with her head included. Love that
too. I have a special aversion for the decapitated fetal vessel which so
often adorns books about pregnancy. I know the baby grows in the uterus,
but do we not need our brains as well?
I have no financial interest in this book.
