Actually it probably depends on how and when it is said. 
BTW I'm not suggesting that people not clearly communicate (and many have seen a clip of me talking about language and infant feeding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8BjnGCNahU) but that we should not negate the power of words and dismiss how they impact people. We should do everything we can to be clear communicators and to empower mothers (however they feed their babies).
