Don't think anyone has said if, and how, they have found a drone aggregation area. I read a lot about there being such areas, butnot how to go about finding them, except with radar (I don't happen to own one that would work on bees). Is there a commonality in such areas that would give one a hint as to what might be one? I'm going to be trying to raise queens this summer and I would really like to locate one in the area where my queens might go for their nuptials. Has anyone tried beelining drones? When do they usually leave the hive for to go to the aggregation areas?
