Hi Sandy,
   I think the mediums must have been left out by mistake.
I bought mediums for that hive last year.
I loved assembling them, no glue or nails, just a few coats of paint after
the four sides were fitted together.
I'll be happy when they are made in the U.S., the price should be a lot
lower.
