Just how would you check the million hives that move to almonds? How many
move to blueberries, 60,000? To think that federal or any other troops could
check this many colonies doesn't seem to be in reality. It seems to me that
all this talk about migratory beekeeping is a waste. It's here to stay and
we need to figure out how to live with it, not blame it for all the ills it
no doubt moves around.
