"Honey–Health and Therapeutic Qualities" from the National Honey Board is
available as a download. It has about a page of discussion on dental
health. A couple of quotes:

'Little is known about the effect of honey on oral health'

'To date, studies on the carciogenicity of honey have yielded contradictory
results.'
