I acquired ABBY Finereader 9.0 Sprint (assume that is a cut down version)
free with an Epson scanner years ago - and agree that it is quite a product.
Previous OCR programs often required considerable tidying up to be done, but
this one rarely gets anything wrong.

Generally known over here as Keystone correction I think.  Often used when
taking photographs of tall buildings, but useful for straightening up
anything.  In the days when we could travel - remember those - I used my
camera as a notebook to photograph those information boards that tell you
everything about what you are looking at.  Never time to read them properly
when you are there and often difficult to photograph 'square on', but that
can be sorted later at home.
