Heather, I agree with you. My second baby was a slow-gainer. She weighed
exactly 8 lbs. at birth and weighed just over 17 lbs. at a year. The MOST
she ever gained in one month was 16 ounces, so I would have been pretty
excited if she'd gained 18 ounces between her fourth and fifth month. I'd be
more worried about the effects of formula on this child, with those green,
smelly poops, and how that might affect mom's milk supply.
