Hi,
A client has ductal yeast, and has been on the Nystatin/Diflucan regimen
plus the entire boiling routine since Friday. She is experiencing no deep
breast pain with pumping, but every time the baby goes to the breast, her
nipples get progressively more sore, and she develops deep breast pain
lasting 30-60 minutes afterward. I am wondering the why baby is causing
the deep pain when the pump does not. Positioning and latch are fine.
Thanks for your input.
