A couple of you have asked how did a clot that large get through the breast.
I'm not sure as I watched her pump one duct seemed to have spagetti type
string of thickened milk. It was almost like it congealed after it left the
breast.
The theory on the antibodies disolving the clots is interesting. The mucous
in the milk bothers me too. Does the breast have muscous producing cells? I
am also wondering if this is a low grade mastitis. Mom doesn't want to take
antibiotics if she doesn't have to.
Any more suggestions?
Marie
