Dear Elisheva, I've read about high BF rates for Japanese moms.  I have a
lot of contact with Vietnamese moms.  They don't BF in Atlantic City, NJ,
USA.  I don't have a clue why not.  I encourage BF (of course) and give
info and contacts to all pg moms.  The moms are quiet and shy, usually dad
comes along to translate until they get confident enough to use English.
I'll  have to start asking why bottle feed.  May make an interesting study!
