Sounds like yeast.  Six days is sometimes the minimal it takes.  The
Candida are getting resistant.  I now use 200 mg loading and 100 mg
bid for at least 2 weeks (one week pain free is the goal and
medication is continued until then).  I don't start worrying until the
mother says no relief at 10 days after starting medication.

You can add ibuprofen.
