Gentamicin is not absorbed from the gi tract.  How will it harm the
baby?  Oh, it might change the gut flora.  Terrible that.  But doesn't
artificial feeding change the baby's gut flora.  I guess it isn't too
bad when it is formula doing it.

I would also question why it is being used.
