Damiana or Turnera diffusa is listed in the PDR FAMILY GUIDE TO NATURAL
MEDICINES AND HEALTHING THERAPIES p343 as having "no harmful effects" for
pregnant or bf moms. In a variety of other sources, no others list it as
problematic. Nonetheless, anything taken may cause an allergic reaction, so
please have the mom use what I call a test dose (a small amount taken and
then observe for 12 hours before going full bore into whatever tx she is
using it for).
