I do not see why this drug should be a problem.  When drugs are not given to
certain aged children, it is not because of the danger to these children,
usually, it is because the drug has not been tested for children, or
sometimes approval has not been asked for by the company (they would have to
provide more tests and data which is expensive, and they risk not getting
approval if they include children and blah blah blah).

If levofloxacin is not okay for this doctor or mother, why not ofloxacin
(Irish drug), or ciprofloxacin (Greek drug)?  Why not gentamicin IM? We
teach diabetics to give themselves injections, don't we?
