Just to put my 2 yen in from Japan on sushi, Japanese mothers are not told
to avoid sushi during pregnancy or lactation. It is just a normal part of
everyone's diet. Sukiyaki, a meat and vegetable dish eaten with raw egg, is
not excluded either.
