Terri,

     If mom doesn't have any problem with waxing, I believe it to be a good
alternative.  Leaving hair there is probably uncomfortable for both mom and
baby, probably more so for the mom.  The wax is just used to pull hair out of
the follicle, and again, as long as the mother is comfortable with this
method, I do not see it adversely effecting the baby.
