Hi Jan, it seems every day I change my mind about the ideal Diflucan
dosage...but this only means that I am individualizing it per patient I
guess. I have found that women need 200mg the first day, then 100-200mg
every day for 1 week, with a refill for another week if symptoms are not
totally gone by the 5-6th day. I like them to be on it extra days while
being symptom free. It is extremely important that the baby's mouth be
treated too, and usually I use nystatin oral suspension.- Anne Eglash MD
