PTP.
Working with a mother, baby sadly died soon after birth from GBS infection.

Mom tested negative prenataly so no antibiotics, unfortunately tested positive after delivery.

Understandably, she is nervous for next baby.  She will definitely get abx during next labor.

She is a nurse and questioning how to prevent possibly transferring GBS through nursing next baby.  Antibiotics during labor should prevent this, correct?

I read the incidence of GBS colonization of breastmilk is very low:
