I've been nomail for quite a few weeks now during the summer hols and family
members are now back to school, work, breastfeeding women and their babies.

Many years ago I worked with a mum who was using shields and had difficulty
getting baby to accept the breast without them. The only way she managed was
when I had a brainstorm and suggested she try smearing on her breasts the
ready made up sterilising solution she used to soak the shields - hey bingo,
it worked straight away and as the days went on she used it less and less.
Nowadays I seldom come across women who use sterilising solution, they nearly
always have a steam steriliser. So this idea is now an archive 'solution'.

Kind regards
