A little bit of breastfeeding to relieve engorgement (if baby able to
latch-think RPS here) hs been a long known soution. Some moms even change
their minds and and go on to BF ! "Trying to BF" can lead to longer
duration IF bottles aren't a part of "trying." The main problem is "Los
Dos" which inevitably leads to BF cessation around 2-6 weeks, depending on
how much BF actually takes place. But at least baby gets some colostrum.
