Hello wise ones,

I'm updating our handout on pumping for our NICU moms, and was going
to put in the helpful hint about using a bit of olive oil to
lubricate the flange and reduce friction. Our docs will go
ballistic, however, unless I have something in writing that shows
that the minute amount of olive oil that 'could' get into the milk is
not harmful for our premies. Anybody have references for this? Or
access to Linda Kutner (I believe she was the originator of the
whole idea)? TIA!
Terry
