A few years ago one of my 4 children had a bout of pinworms at the end of the
year. At that time there was only one tablet to be found in town- not the
prescribed 2. (I was told by the hospital pharmacist that they only produced
so many tablets per year and that they had not been able to fill other
scripts and that other pharmacies in our town were also out of the stuff). I
remember my grandmother would often suggest herbal and food remedies out of
an old cookbook when I was small- lots of drugs didn't exist in the early
1900's or they just didn't rely on doctors save for having children then. I
referred to her old cookbook and then reverified with the use of the book
"Prescription for Nutritional Healing". GARLIC has antiparisitic properties-
as do some of the other "hot spices".
I used the garlic tablets along with a little having the child use her
kiddy potty and within a few days it was quite obvious that the GARLIC was
doing the trick!!! My pediatrician who I had bemoaned to when I found out
that there was only one tablet in town was skeptical of my plan to treat with
garlic tablets- however I made certain to inform my chemical/pharmaceutically
inclinded American pediatrician that there must be something to those old
time remedies that we should not discredit! I hope this offers you just one
more venue in treatment of those nasty beasties!!
