The gloves issue interests me a lot.  I remember reading in Jan Riordan's
chapter in Breastfeeding and Human Lactation that:
      "Universal precautions do not apply to human milk unless it contains
visible
blood."
This was quoted as coming from the CDC.  Is this information no longer
accurate?  I called my local county and state health departments and each
said they had no regulations regarding human milk.  The woman at the county
health department did suggest I call the local dairy board since the did
regulate milk. : )
