One common reason for headaches while breastfeeding is neck/back strain.
Typically moms will bend over to the baby which is rough on the neck.
Injury during childbirth (like whiplash) can also cause pain.  I would
suggest contacting a PT or a chiropractor.  The LC should teach the
mom proper positioning to ease back/neck strain.
