This drug sounds very good from the baby's point of view. >99% protein
binding, and oral bioavailability of only 20%. MAO inhibitors, though, are
difficult drugs and potentially dangerous for the mother. She could get a
very bad reaction if she takes cheese.

Sertraline (Zoloft) is not the only acceptable antidepressant. Most of the
tricyclics are acceptable. Paroxetine (Paxil) is also quite good and
buproprion (Zyban, Wellbutrin) is probably okay as well.
