I, too have found some of them confusing.  It took me quite a while
to figure out that IMO was "in my opinion", IMHO "in my humble
opinion" and BTW "by the way".  I realize that these short cuts let
us say more is less time/space, but it is confusing to newer
subscribers who haven't figured them out yet.  Most hospitals have
an "approved abbreviation list" and anyone putting infoin records is
limited to those.  Do we need some kind of approved abbreviations
list for Lactnet?
