Re: Dad's and bottlefeeding....last week we had a support group at our
hospital for the father's of breastfeeding babies. To our pleasant
surprise.... 25 daddies showed up with 21 babies in tow..... The meeting was
at 7:30pm and scheduled to run for 1!?12 hours. Many of the mom's joined
together for dinner! But the point is..... that most of the babes were
content for the entire time and only 2-3 were fed bottles of BM. There was
alot of rocking, bouncing, and finger sucking going on....but it seemed clear
that babies knew they were with their dads....
11/2 hour of babies and moms together and all of the breast would have been
out....... so I think babies quickly learn what buttons to push. :-).

during the 1 1/2 hr meeting, can you believe that most of the babes were
happy and only 2-3 of them were fed bottles. there was alot of rocking,
bouncing, and finger sucking going on....but it seemed clear that babies knew
they were with their dads....
