We had that formula problem years ago in the nursery.  1st we got yelled at
for putting partly full bottles in the trash, so we started pouring, then
we got yelled at for clogging the drains.  Doesn't seem to be any "good"
way to rid of the stuff other than flushing! Yes it is SO appropriate!
