There was a presentation at the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine meeting in Kansas City in November.  One hospital took the issue to the hospital ethics committee.  They decided that the policy was not ethical.  The issue was take to the ethics committee by a resident member of the medical staff. It worked in that one case.
