I can't speak to other comfort measures, but as far as nifedipine
during pregnancy, that's one of the first drugs OBs in New York use to
treat pre-term labor, so someone believes that it's safe for use
during pregnancy! Of course, if she's not comfortable taking it even
knowing that, that's her choice!
