Patricia,
I had a call from a mom a couple years ago who was to take antibiotics
and was concerned about allergic reaction in baby who was allergic to
many foods. I don't remember all the details but the story was that the
previous year she had been away from home with the nursing baby, ate
peanuts, babe had anaphylactic reaction. Obviously she was extremely
careful with her own and babe's diet after that, thus her concern about
the antibiotics.

Introduction: I made a promise at ILCA to post when I got back home, so
at long last here I am! My name is Janie Ginder, I am an RN at a
Birthing Center in Eugene, OR (Designated Baby-Friendly one year ago!) I
am an LC "in training", hope to accumulate those 4000!!! hours by next
year and take the exam July '99.
