Seems I remember a story you told about a mom coming into emergency room
with engorgement, given a pump, and told to pump until it felt better.
Do I recall correctly that she pumped 5 hours and was so bruised she had
to quit breastfeeding because no method of expression was tolerable?
I tell moms they can pump as often as every hour if necessary, but no
longer than 30 minutes at a time. Purely arbitrary. Seems 15 minutes
sometimes isn't long enough, but don't want them to overdo it.
