Hi everyone!
A collegue of mine who works in ICU had fits last night. The last
time she had them was whilst she was a child. Her baby is about 4 months
old and still breastfeeding. She was seen by the neuro-surgeon and he
wants to put her onto "sodium valproate" which is Epilim in RSA. He has
ruled out breastfeeding and she is anxious to carry on - does anyone have
any info - nothing in the archives. He says that this drug has the least
side-effects.
Thanks for any info. I apologise if this is a repeat - I seem to
have lost a message somewhere! Hi to Gail Hertz (xxx)
Sincerely,
Barbie Currie. White River, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
