Simple solution:
Take Imodium (loperamide) instead.
Even with the severest diarrhea I've had while in Haiti, the Imodium worked
wonders.
It has pretty much supplanted Lomotil, in any case, because of its safety
profile.
PS: Keep up FLUIDS, FLUIDS, and more FLUIDS
