Hi Jan,
Yes a breastfeeding mother can have the vaccine. At the hospital I work
at a room of four mothers and babies were put at risk with chicken pox,
by a child visitor. Three mothers and babies were covered by mothers
immune system (IgG &IgM were tested), but the forth mother and baby had
to be vaccinated as they were high risk, with no immunity.
Hope this helps, but get the prenatal serology checked first.
