Is anyone familiar with the NIDCAPP Program (a Developmental Care program 
for neonates) and it's support or lack of support for breastfeeding??? My 
Medical Center just had a 4 hour class given to all nurses working in the 
NICU/PICU/Pediatric Floor and not one word was mentioned about 
breastfeeding. Many of my pro-breastfeeding collegues were puzzled. What is 
more appropriate than a Mother observing a baby's feeding cues and 
responding to their needs by nursing them? Mary Sirian Peterson
