One of the clues re: diminishing supply is "birth control shot" given after 
birth.  Right in the shot directions it says not to be used before 6 weeks - 
for a good reason - it messes with mom's milk supply.  Re: odor ?  maybe 
related to shot or lipase in milk that is pumped.  Try lipase is your 
search.  Pat in SNJ
