Permission to post. I need help and suggestions for a 2nd time nursing mom of an 8 mo. old. Her mental health therapist suggests she wean, as mom is experiencing hives, hair falling out, and PTSD in connection with the pumping at work experience. 

I am seeing mom for a F/U today. She does not want to wean! Saw her a couple of mos. ago when she was in process of leaving a job after 2 mos. of harassment and trauma in connection with an unsupportive supervisor.

Interesting how this comes up as I've been more actively exploring ways to integrate my MFT Internship with my IBCLC private practice work.
