Yes disposable nappies does make it hard to judge urine output and I totally
agree with those respondents who say to keep an eye on stooling in the first
month or two as a good indicator of intake.
Just a cultural note of difference here for the poster who said (in capital
letters) that nobody uses cloth diapers any more - most Australian mothers
use cloth nappies most of the time.
