 almost all of the  handful of articles that I found were single case 
reports.  There also is a deficiency of zinc available to moms via diet in 
some areas of the world.  One of the articles had the good sense to say 
consider this possibilty in a BF infant, seems atopic derm is usually first 
suspect, when baby really needs some zinc.

One of the neatest articles I found lately was by Jelliffe.  He said if 
mom's milk is deficient (for whatever reason) feed the MOM, not the baby!
