I agree with you that the issue of bf failure has to be addressed: not
only these women may have other children, but they may be the ones who
will telle their friends and daughters that "bf is just too much
trouble", as a way to cope with grief. I heard a lady offering lay
support to bf women (not LLL) that , according to her experience, a lady
who has had support during her weaning (forced or choice) is more likely
to bf her subsequent children and to support bf around her.
So, how do we do that, when we are grieving for that interrupted bf ?
