Congrats to the Health Canada, the federal health protection body, for
rejecting the use of recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH) in dairy
farming!
rBGH was approved by the US Government in 1993 despite animal-welfare concerns
and potential risks to human health.  And to top it off, they (US) refused to
allow labeling of dairy products from rBGH treated cows.
