Donna asks about studies linking formula gifts with low bf duration - I
hope there is something out there , but in the meantime I  suggest you go

Baby Milk Action had evidence that local sales of Milupa formula increased
hugely after the company sponsored a room in the maternity wing of a
hospital, and I know they published it in their newsletter.

This is not quite the same as saying that gifts affect bf duration, I know.
