My brain was triggered when I read LSmith's post about the infant needing
only one mom. Somewhere I heard that an infant attaches to one person
(mom) and then when is secure, branches out to others (dad). This is one of
the things I've been telling moms in my Breastfeeding Class when they bring
up the issue of dad's feeding baby with bottles. Wouldn't this hold true
in a mom-mom family? Anybody else know about this process of attachment I
refer to?
