Many of my moms are told "the mini-pill" will increase supply.  This was true 
for me but I was many months post-partum and had started menustrating.  Also, 
I have even had moms told that the nuvaring ( vaginal estrogen and pr
ogesterone) wouldn't affect milk supply.  It lowered my supply but not any more than 
menstruation. 
 
 
I have had mothers with no effect on supply and those with dramatic effects 
(within 1-2) doses of the mini-pill.  Micronor is the one most used in 
California, USA.
