I said (apropos of the coverage in UK newspapers of this issue):

>
>I am waiting for the first person to tell me in class, or on the
>phone, or over my kitchen table, 'my mother/friend/neighbour read in
>the paper that they're saying women shouldn't bother to
>breastfeed.....'

Well, it's happened - a student of mine reports a class last night
when a father reported he had read about 'a large scale study'
showing 'a breast fed baby is no healthier than a baby fed on
formula'.
